Cathay Dragon, formerly known as Dragonair, was a Hong Kong-based regional airline and wholly-owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific. Founded in 1985, it rebranded in 2016 and operated an all-Airbus fleet serving around 50 destinations across Asia until ceasing operations on 21 October 2020 amid COVID-19 restructuring. Its network focused on regional routes from its hub at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), complementing Cathay Pacific's long-haul services. As a full-service carrier and oneworld affiliate, it was noted for comfortable seating, attentive cabin crew, and strong safety standards typical of the Cathay group. Many of its aircraft and routes were integrated into Cathay Pacific operations post-closure.
