Smartwings Poland

Smartwings Poland, originally Travel Service Polska Sp. z o.o., was founded in May 2012 and began operations from Warsaw Chopin Airport as a Polish charter airline specializing in leisure travel. As a subsidiary of the Czech airline Smartwings, it operates under the parent company's umbrella, leveraging shared resources. In 2018, the airline underwent a rebranding exercise alongside other Travel Service group entities, changing its name to Smartwings Poland and repainting its aircraft to align with the Smartwings brand identity.

The airline's network primarily consists of seasonal charter services to leisure destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. Key hubs are Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) and Katowice International Airport (KTW), facilitating operations in Poland. It serves numerous destinations, including Albania (Tirana), Bulgaria (Burgas, Varna), Croatia (Split), Cyprus (Larnaca), Egypt (Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Taba), Greece (Chania, Heraklion, Kavala, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, Zakynthos), Turkey (Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman), Spain (Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife), and others such as Cuba (Cayo Coco, Santa Clara), Dominican Republic (Punta Cana), Tunisia (Enfidha, Tabarka), and Thailand (Krabi). New routes for 2025 include Montenegro (Tivat) and Tunisia (Tabarka).

The fleet is small, centered on a single Boeing 737-800 with 189 seats, supplemented by parent company aircraft, emphasizing efficient charter operations for vacation travel. What makes it distinctive is its focus on affordable, seasonal leisure charters, catering to Polish tourists seeking sun-soaked getaways.
