Wizz Air Malta (W4) is a Maltese ultra-low-cost carrier and subsidiary of the Wizz Air Group, founded in 2022 to strengthen the group's EU operations amid regulatory challenges. It launched with its first flight from Rome Fiumicino to Malta International Airport (MLA) on 27 September 2022 and has since grown rapidly, serving over 136 destinations across Europe, Morocco, the South Caucasus, and the Middle East as of late 2023.
